It was great to see our old friends and make new ones at this year’s NC Affordable Housing Conference. This year’s conference entitled “Housing Works” was a huge success. The annual conference is hosted by the North Carolina Housing Coalition, the Community Investment Corporation of the Carolinas, and the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency, and brings together financers, builders, architects and non-profit organizations to work towards successful affordable housing across the state.
TightLines Designs was again a sponsor this year and had a booth in the exhibition area. David Maurer, President of TightLines, presented a highly attended session entitled “Green Building for Small, Affordable Homes” speaking about how simple – and with minimal cost – design and construction related decisions can be made to make your new home energy-efficient, healthy, and eco-friendly.
