The team at TightLines attended and exhibited at the Governor's Housing Conference this week in Norfolk, Virginia. The conference is the largest and most comprehensive affordable housing event of the year.

TightLines Designs is pleased to be providing design services for multiple projects that were awarded housing credit funds by the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) for the 2013 cycle. NCHFA finances the statewide construction of affordable rental apartments using federal and state housing credits, low-interest loans, and tax-exempt bond allocations. Funds are awarded annually through a competitive application process.

These studies generally compare two or more different development scenarios, and help local leaders make informed decisions about new development based on the costs or revenues associated with them.
TightLines Designs recently collaborated with client Steve Orlesky on an exciting project in the City of Thunder Bay-- an area of northern Ontario, Canada. Our team worked closely with Steve to develop a modern variation of the standard Nash-- a two-story Craftsman style home in our single family portfolio.
