It’s been a busy summer for us, so we wanted to take a moment to recap before we dive into fall & winter festivities!
  • We enjoyed catching up with friends old and new at the 2025 CAHEC Partners Conference in June. The sessions are always enlightening and engaging. The highlight is always the evening social, which this year was 80s themed! Til next year, CAHEC!
  • Also in June we had our annual Build Day where, as a company, we work with a Habitat for Humanity affiliate. This year we were fortunate to help frame townhomes for the Wake County Habitat, right here in Raleigh. The best part? They’re our designs! Stay tuned for updates on the completion of the Old Poole Place community.
  • At the end of September we attended the 36th NC Affordable Housing Conference – the largest on yet, with almost 1500 attendees! We greeted many familiar faces at our booth, Becca participated in a panel discussion about the importance of design in supportive housing, and the ladies networked at the annual NC WAHN Luncheon. We were also excited to see one of our projects, Park Court, receive the award for Excellence in Sustainability. You can read more about the project and award here. Congrats to the Housing Authority of the City of Goldsboro!
  • Perhaps most importantly, on August 11, TightLines officially turned 20 years old! We celebrated by taking the day off and exploring Raleigh. We started with a delicious brunch at Press, and then completed an escape room challenge at The Tower Escapes. Finally we landed at Jaguar Bolera for drinks, duck pin bowling and a competitive round of trivia! We are so appreciative of all of our clients over the years, and grateful to our valued consultants for their partnerships. While we enjoyed the fun festivities and a hiatus from our daily duties, we did not forget about the importance of affordable housing. We look forward to continuing to provide safe, affordable and dignified housing to all of our North Carolina neighbors in the years to come.
