In 2023, the TightLines team began collaborating with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Raleigh on their most ambitious, and largest, community yet – Old Poole Place in southeast Raleigh. On 23 acres near the intersection of Old Poole Road and New Hope Road, Old Poole Place includes 60 single family homes and 54 townhomes. One of the homes was even part of the 2025 Parade of Homes Tour.
Our team is honored to have provided design services for the single family houses and the community’s townhomes. The townhomes offer one- and two-story designs. The one-story units have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with an open great room. The two-story units have three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, with an open living space on the first floor. The single family homes include our Monique II, Carlisle I, Hawkins I, Juniper I and Whitney I designs. All single family homes feature three bedrooms, two bathrooms and open living spaces with a full kitchen and dining room.
This project is special to us not only because we’re helping shape our local community, but during construction our team was able to get out of the office to help build. In June 2024, we had the pleasure of volunteering on several single family homes. Again in June 2025, we returned to help frame some townhomes. We look forward to seeing many thriving and happy families in this community for years to come!
